According to a story by PostChronicle.com the singer regrets her performance in the movie Step Up 2: The Streets, considering it to be somewhat of a mess. She especially regretted not taking more acting classes before signing on, and had a lot of trouble at first on-set, especially when it came to her lines.

Can’t blame her, though. She jumped on the chance when it came - and if you don’t jump on chances in Hollywood you might never get another.

That’s okay, Ventura. Practice more before your next role and you’ll be fine.

But there is a lot of hubbub in the news these days about P Diddy popping the question to Ventura, and fans are scrambling to find out if the question was legit or not. Did it actually happen?

Not according to their reps. There have been staunch denials that there’s been any sort of proposal on either side. But Star Magazine claims that a source close to the couple has confirmed their impending engagement, or at least that Diddy made the proposal.

Running 3:34 in length “Official Girl” is, according to Ventura, one of her best-danced videos to date, and will feature a cameo by rapper Lil Wayne. According to Ventura Lil Wayne was brought into the video thanks to the actions of Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy. The video will debut on August 1, 2008.

“Official Girl” was first announced by Ventura when she was busy promoting her new movie, Step Up 2. It will be created by well-known director Chris Robinson, who has headed up a wide variety of music videos from a number of different rappers.

Maybe “a couple” doesn’t do her justice. According to her Bebo page Ventura sports seven tattoos on her body.

The most well publicized tattoo is displayed just above her rear – she showed that one off on MTV – and appears to be “Male From Love”(Thanks to Alia for the correction!:). in stylized letters

There’s now a heart with a crown atop it just above those words. Another can be found on her left wrist, on the inside of her arm. Another is located low, on her ankle. And another – a small constellation of stars, her first tattoo – is located on her shoulder.
