Singer Cassie Ventura ‘Ashamed’ Of Messy Film Debut

Poor Cassie Ventura. She’s learned a tough lesson: just because you can sing doesn’t mean you can act.
According to a story by PostChronicle.com the singer regrets her performance in the movie Step Up 2: The Streets, considering it to be somewhat of a mess. She especially regretted not taking more acting classes before signing on, and had a lot of trouble at first on-set, especially when it came to her lines.
Can’t blame her, though. She jumped on the chance when it came - and if you don’t jump on chances in Hollywood you might never get another.
That’s okay, Ventura. Practice more before your next role and you’ll be fine.
