“Official Girl” is the first single to be released from Cassie Ventura’s upcoming 2008 album of the same name.
Running 3:34 in length “Official Girl” is, according to Ventura, one of her best-danced videos to date, and will feature a cameo by rapper Lil Wayne. According to Ventura Lil Wayne was brought into the video thanks to the actions of Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy. The video will debut on August 1, 2008.
“Official Girl” was first announced by Ventura when she was busy promoting her new movie, Step Up 2. It will be created by well-known director Chris Robinson, who has headed up a wide variety of music videos from a number of different rappers.
